Max Whittington has been an estates and trust litigation attorney in the Pacific Northwest for over 10 years. Max brings extensive experience representing clients in complex probate and trust disputes and contentious estate matters.
Max focuses his practice on all aspects of trust and estate litigation, including will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and contested trust administrations. His experience encompasses representing beneficiaries, trustees, and personal representatives in matters involving breach of fiduciary duty claims, accounting disputes, contested guardianships and conservatorships, and allegations of undue influence or fraud. Max also has an extensive background in property and real estate law issues which commonly arise in estate litigation. Clients appreciate Max’s ability to navigate contentious family disputes with sensitivity while providing straightforward advice and vigorous representation. His background in commercial litigation and real property disputes provides him with valuable perspective in complex trust and estate cases involving business interests and real estate assets.
Max grew up in Cottage Grove, Oregon, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon before attending law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Max also serves as President of the board of directors of CCSW Community Center and is the past Vice President of Mid Rogue Imaging Center.
