
Tyler S. McDonald is a trust and estate litigator licensed in Oregon and South Carolina. He represents beneficiaries, trustees, personal representatives, and families in complex disputes involving wills, trusts, fiduciary duties, elder abuse, and probate litigation. Clients turn to Tyler for his strategic judgment and steady guidance through emotionally sensitive matters.
Before focusing on trust and estate litigation, Tyler served as Corporate Counsel at ShiftMed, LLC, where he managed compliance and corporate litigation. He also worked as an Enforcement Attorney with the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs, advising leadership on regulatory policy and prosecuting unfair business practices. Tyler began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Aphrodite K. Konduros at the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
Tyler holds a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and a B.S. in Accounting from the College of Charleston. His financial background informs his work in matters involving high-value estates and closely held businesses.
