Jeff Myers is a seasoned attorney with fifteen years of civil litigation experience across federal, state, bankruptcy, and appellate courts. After graduating from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2009, he built a distinguished career in complex litigation, successfully representing clients in over 1,000 cases.
In 2013, Jeff argued the landmark case of Brandrup v. ReconTrust before the Oregon Supreme Court, which has become one of the most frequently cited cases in Oregon property law. His deep expertise in foreclosure litigation and property rights provides a strong foundation for his current focus on trust and estate matters at Reuter Corbett.
Jeff represents beneficiaries, trustees, and fiduciaries in will and trust contests, guardianships, and conservatorships. Having extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, he understands that estate litigation often involves complex family dynamics and emotional challenges, particularly in the wake of losing a loved one.
While Jeff strongly believes in pursuing negotiated solutions when possible, he recognizes that some situations demand decisive court action. When litigation becomes necessary, he serves as a fierce advocate for his clients, leveraging his extensive trial experience to protect their interests. Before joining Reuter Corbett in 2024, Jeff spent nearly 15 years focusing on foreclosure litigation, where he honed his skills in complex property disputes and civil procedure. He is licensed to practice in Oregon and regularly appears in courts throughout the state.
